Here is our Tech's opinion of the NEW Samsung NC110 Netbooks

The NEW Samsung NC110 Dual Core Netbook with an Intel Atom N570 processor stands out amongst its fellow competitors in the market for its unique design, prolonged battery life and portability. This netbook delivers well on performance when used for web-browsing and light processing. It is ideal for children, and can be used in and outside the classroom.

The netbooks can be used by students in a variety of lessons for developing PowerPoint presentations, using online educational resources and conducting online research.   

With a price tag of just £228.00 I think you will agree this is extremely good value for money.

This dynamic netbook also comes with a built-in fast start option, 1.5 watt speakers with SRS premium sound controller. Samsung have designed a superb “island style” touchpad and keyboard layout with the user in mind which is unlike other manufacturers. Again, the NC110 offers the standard array of ports; 3 USB (1 chargeable), Ethernet, VGA, Headphone, MIC, SD card reader and a 0.3MP webcam as well as the usual wireless.

Overall this is an excellent choice if you are considering netbooks for Education, it will feel at home in your school network and the kids will love it, with the majority of the design based on being compact, lightweight and extremely portable with lots of prolonged battery life at up to 10 hours.

Please note however: if you need high video editing performance, then this is not the choice for you; for this we would recommend a notebook that will deliver the high level of processing power required.
